Well there has to be some sort of equilibrium. Not too rich, not too lean, similar too how Goldilocks likes her porridge and and her other stuff.

Why can't cars be dynoed or measured in its actual run? I really dont get why there's more focus on simulated runs than real ones? It's not like you're going to be racing inside a dyno shop with your car tied, fans blowing toward you and wheels rolling on drums!

Someone enlighten me...

The point of simulated runs is to relate peak power in the best conditions. The problems we are experiencing with dynoing our cars could be causing problems on the track as well.

Don't forget that many people have stated that supposedly that even turning DSC doesn't completely remove the error.

In car with an accelerometer, a little textbook math and physics is all you really need. I don't know about the G-tech but the Escort G-timer works great.

someone needs to figure out how to loop the ECU signal that reads rearwheel speed and send that signal to the frontwheel speed sensor then the ECu wouldn't get all pissy. I dyno'ed 170.4 at the wheels with the DSC turned off and the rear whell speed sensors removed but the ECU eventualy caught on and still went into "lag mode". A bunch of dash light slit up.

Ya know.....

I have a stock 8, no DSC, had a CZ 1.1 in and noticed a significant boost... no stats.... took it out because the car was going in for service and CZ advised to remove. Want to reinstall (on M Flash now)... but CZ stated that because I live in a hot climate it would need to be updated to ensure that coils were not damaged. CZ stated that there would be a minimal charge. Waited a bit and then emailed CZ, now the bill is $75.00 + shipping.

I really like my 8. I like that I am not faced with the DSC issues. I liked the "feel" of the CZ 1.1 unit but am frustrated that I now have to pay additional to get the unit to work as originally advertised. I have had my CZ unit out for six months now and am still debating paying the extra $$.
