E-Manage Question

Im new to tuning cars in general being only 17 years old but I was wondering what exactly a E-manage system is about cause I wanna put a couple mods in my car , so any faqs about this would be cool

its a piggy-bk ecu tat 'blaff' the signals like: fuel mappin,ignition timin of ur pre-prog main unit thro ur own input.
