used to sell them through my shop, they are the "go to" product for someone looking for an intake but not wanting to spend a lot of money. not bad overall product, but the filter is cheap foam.

they seem to have a very good online comparison test showing that their foam intake is better than the traditional k&n filter.

the foam filter will flow "better" than a cotton filter, as there is more space for the air to flow through, taking the same surface area into consideration.

but with a k&n filter, it is pleated, and by pleating the material, adding significantly more surface area for the air to pass through.

the foam also will not filter as well as a k&n style filter.

as i said, their product is a "go to" product for someone wanting to save a buck on an intake.

i would relate putting this intake into an rx-8 to putting a jensen cd player into a mercedes benz.

i would put the money for the intake into something else, springs, exhaust, audio, etc.

it is your money though, so all i can do is make suggestions

Got one for my brothers Honda Accord. It was terrible. Didn't fit right, cheap material.
