Want to make a little more noise

I dont have very much money at the moment but I have added an intake and was wondering if I kept the cat and stock muffler but just changed the piping to 2 1/2 or 3 inch if that would help me out in the sound department. I'm sure it will make some noise but I dont want it to sound bad. I couldnt find any topics that were relavant to this so feedback would be greatly appreciated. If its not a bad idea how big of pipe should I get?

Just save your money until you can do it right. Don't rush into anything.

It will probably sound like ****. Just wait a few months until you can afford to mod your car properly. You don't drive a civic, so don't half *** your mods.

^ well said.

Take your time with stuff. Remember this modding cars stuff is expensive when done properly. Good parts aren't normally cheap and good tuning is never cheap, either in money and/or time.

Speaking of which ... I really need to fix that crack in my windshield instead of buying performace and suspension mods.

... maybe if cut back on beer ....
