I've got RP's shifter and a pearl finish aluminum magnum voodoo ****. Matches the interior nicely and makes shifting much more fun. I much prefer the ball style shift **** to the pistol-grip style of the factory ****. The weight difference between the much lighter voodoo **** and the factory **** allows you to feel the shift much more precisely in my opinion. It's a great setup.

I recommend the pearl finish over the machined... I have the magnum voodoo that the original poster installed from my Miata, and had to "re-machine" it every couple of months with some fine grain sand paper and aluminum polish. It looks great for a while, then it starts to get dull and worn where your hand grabs it. It's not a big deal and only takes a couple minutes with a drill, but still I'd rather avoid doing it at all. Just my $.02...
