twin plate throttle?

I read (thru a rather terrible autotranslator) on Re Amemiya's website that they are thinking about a twin-plate throttle. Has anyone done this on a fuel injected rotary? I have seen multiple velocity stacks on carb'ed 13b's and of course on the 26b and some other race engines, but I haven't heard of anyone using IRTB's on the rotary, certainly not the Renesis yet. (I know about the double-throttle on the FD3S, but that's not really a throttle) What's the deal? Seems like they have good gains on piston engines w/ ECU tuning. I realize the need for a new intake manifold, so perhaps no one has wanted to take on that challenge?
