I've seen Polak's dyno vid, but i was wondering if someone with a NA turboxs setup could make a clip similar to the one adrian-1 did with the turbo? also, is there much drone with the system? I'm also interested in the HKS setup with a midpipe.

I havent heard the xs exhaust in person but i've heard the HKS Legamax exhaust with RP super cat and I must say its one of the best sounding combinations out there. Too bad I never shot a video of it. Compared to other high flow cats I believe the RP supercat sounds the best, not only that, you can still pass smog.

Keep in mind, these videos were shot directly after installation. The sound now is a little more different

i have turbo xs na setup it sounds the same as the his turbo set up but louder

I had the HKS Legamax exhaust with the RP Supercat and it did sound pretty awesome! The only problem is that (in my opinion) it was a little loud for everyday driving. With just the HKS Legamax, it was 93dB and with the HKS Legamax and RP Supercat it jumped to 105 dB! If I put it back on, I'll see if XDEEDUBBX will take a video of it.

FYI- In Japan, HKS just released a Metal Catalyzer for the RX8. This 65mm SUS304 mid-pipe includes a 150 cell metal catalytic converter along with a sound resonator. According to Japan, this combined with an HKS Legamax exhaust is only 95 dB. This could be a more expensive option for you!

with just the turboxs cat back it was 84db with a mide pipe add it jumped to 107db

any one know what db the greddy sp2 wiht SR motorsports HF cat is... just for reference to how loud the turbo xs would be...
