Ok, so I installed everything and surprisingly enough I have no CEL.. And as expected........ THIS B!TCH IS LOUD AS ÷%#&!!!!!!!! Lol but im absolutely loving every second of it...

 

Lol I LOVEEE my turboxs race pipe and exhaust setup I literally turn heads a mile down the road and when I'm downtown I've been told it rattles windows!!! #winning

 

I'm getting my TurboXs tomorrow , pretty expensive up here in Canada , but you guys are making me excited even if it was like last year . I want to know how she really sounds .

 

Realli? So many ppl in the GTA has turbo XS..... too raspy for me...and fitments not the greatest.

 

MIne, is a perfect fit. with both the race pipe or the TurboX catted pipe. Now has the catted pipe and the sound is the same maybe a little more subdued.
Gives me chills at 9k

I live in the waterloo region there's a handful of 8's here . I've only seen about 3 in my time here . I heard it was perfect fitting the ones before had problems . I kinda like it deep toned and raspy . It was the cheaper better exhausts though . AP and Borla all were over $1200 .

Back pressure is not good.

 

It is my understanding that tuned exhaust or a header have little or no bearing on engine output and in fact back pressure lowers output and with freeing up the exhaust increases it.

 

Does anyone have a video of sound at high rpms for racepipe with stock exhaust? Or any exhaust? I am trying to decide if I should purchase the race pipe but I don't like it raspy, I like loud and deep humming sounds. HATE raspy, I can't find any videos of sound past 4k rpms. Thanks!

 

Have a 06 Shinka with the race pipe, not raspy but loud think of a formula one at 10,000 rpm or a big bore bike at the redline. Love the system, its loud but you can control the sound with the gas pedal.
