I just put back in my transmission and i forgot to add oil and im just being lazy but im not trying to crawl back under the car, i wasted like all of the oil out of the transmission and i was wondering if i could pour the oil thu the shifter is would that work

 

i have heard of people doing that, however i myself have never done it that way...

 

It's pretty easy to do. I had to do it once because was sold a faulty oil pump.

thats the way i do it all the time--just be sure you put in the correct amount.
