torque upgrades

This is one of the first threads i've seen actually asking for more torque so i'm not sure that it deserves the "search noob " response .
I assume the OP knows what he means by this so :
You could go for a 4.77 diff but there really isn't much you can do to the engine that you would notice at low rpm (besides FI)

Unfortunately, after buying almost every NA modification possible, the only way to get real torque out of the Renesis motor is a turbo with a proper tune, but it is expensive to do it properly. I did have good results with the Mazdaspeed Flywheel, which gave me a little bit better pickup from a dead stop, especially if you do a lot of stop and go driving. Again, it is not the same as adding a turbo, but you need to make several other mods along with the flywheel, such as air intake, header, Cobb accessport, test pipe or high flow cat depending on how loud you want it, exhaust, ignition upgrade, but that all adds up to a lot of money as well.
However, the reality of owning one of these cars as I find out is that parts are expensive. It is too bad they never offered the car with a 20b renesis option, because that paired with the car's handling would have made a hell of a car.

c'mon man, you are hardly the bastion of NA Renesis performance
Granted it will never have V8 or turbo performance, but with the weight down, the right parts, and the right tune the car scoots along fairly decently even from down low, and I don't even have a flywheel, porting mods, etc.

I agree. It is a great car, I just did not want to come across as trying to sound like you can get 500hp ot of the car NA, or as if I was trying to build up his expectations. My RX8 was very nice, I was just offering him some honesty and some real info without overexaggerating. Sorry for offering advice, I know I shouldn't be doing so, just in my nature.

There I go again thinking I am the "bastion authority of NA performance", just because I gave someone an honest answer.
The info. I provided is true, which I know from personal experience and
from proven results, but I don't know why that is putting down the car, or saying anything negative because I loved mine.
