Titianium exhaust tips
#2
I'd check out the welding possibilities before buying titanium tips. I know stainless should be tig'd, but can be mig'd (a little more messy), but titanium???
Your average local exhaust/muffler shop wont be skilled enough to tig. And that's if tig will even do titanium...

arc welding is way faster than either of those processes for stainless, and if you're not too bad you still end up with a nice bead (not that an angle grinder couldn't fix it if you are bad).
i have no idea about welding titanium alloys onto mild/stainless, arc or not.

You want to put 4" tips on your 8?? I'm surprised nobody raised the rice flag yet. Please don't "tip" your RX8. That's like chrome plastic wheel covers........with spinners.
