Throttle Body Bypass Extra Mod?

This may sound crazy but has anyone thought about bypassing there winsheild washer water through the throttle body? Kinda like a purge to cool off the TB and wash you winsheild as a bouns. Can the washer pump handle the extra duty?

1 - Most windshield fluid contains methyl alcohol and will attack aluminum.

2 - How would the fluid cool the throttle body?....it is at the same (underhood) temperature.

you'd be better off just getting a vented hood.

kind of off topic and the whole same temp. as the engine compartment makes sense on why it woudl not work ... but in relation to this ... as part of the SRT-4 "stage 2" setup it uses windshield washer fluid as an intercooler sprayer. if that has a cooling effect wouldnt this have some sort of effect... as minimal as it might be ?

haha... no i totally agree. the first time one of my friends told me that the little blue button sprayed washer fluid i made so much fun of the kid.... but since this was brought up i figured there might be some kind of improvement ... but its confirmed ... windshield washer fluid is not a cooling device but pissing on the intercooler shall add 35 horse... thanks all

Actually no,
while doing do iy may provide a cooling effect to some degree, it won't be your intercooler that cools off. Besides you don't wanna **** on the cooler too as that ammonia and salt in your **** will disintegrate intercooler aluminum same way as the widow washer fluid.

This thread reminded me of the old - run the heater as xtra cooling for the motor trick . Problem becomes where to run the hot air without overheating yourself ...

Thanks Im guessing those people you mentioned quit already because nobody works there with those names. Didnt the guy from upcountry sell his car??? Im pretty sure I saw a girl driving it now and the guy that owns the white 8 at island dodge is my friend's one but he traded it in for a slightly lifted ford f250. I wanted his HKS Hi-Power custom 3" exhaust but was to late for me to ask.

Hey if you ever want to change your clutch Im selling my ACT HD clutch kit. LMK if your ever interested.
