Exclamation SSV Valve Stuck Open? Greddy Turbo?

I keep getting a CEL that reads SSV stuck open? whats this all about? I have a Greddy turbo kit, is there any relation between the two? Also getting CEL: RKE p0039?

You are using the eManage Ultimate, right? If so, there is a resistor in the harness that keeps the valve from opening and there is a block off plate that prevents air from entering the ports. Its normal to get that code and can be fixed by removing the blocking plate and rewiring the harness so that the valve functions normally.

Can you tell me exactly where this resistor is? I'm getting that CEL code too, but I did not install the blocking plate. I did install the Ultimate ugrade computer though.

And why did GReddy do that? Why would you want to block that port?

No. The plate is there because the air column collapses when it opens and the Mitsu turbo in the kit can't catch up because the WG can doesn't have enough authority to close the WG again.
This translates to a drop in boost at the 6k mark or so.

Jeff never used it. Neither did Mysql. It was basically Greddy's half *** solution

Blocking Plate

humm...

Time to get Jeff's upgraded turbo for the GReddy kit maybe.
But meanwhile, I can't figure if I should block it, or leave it off...and take the resistor that was mentioned out of the harness. If I only knew where it was.
