Sr pulley kit

Sr pulley kit

Does any body recomend the Sr pulley kit, because i was thinking about getting one, but im a little skeptical of the gains

I have it on my car. The claims of 12-18 whp is ludicrous. It is lucky to get 2 hp. Not to mention my idle was a bit erratic from it, & the CEL went on, & was a PITA to get off. They tell you the 20 stomp technique works but that is BS.

I think it's more than 20 stomps of the brake to reset the KAM and I did 3 resets in a row and my CEL was out in about 2 driving cycles never to return (6 months now). Can't say what the SR pulleys by themselves will do for you since my RB flywheel was installed at the same time. Together, the car has much better engine response and acceleration. I do have an idle problem that started 4 weeks ago but I don't believe it's related to the pulleys at this point.

First time, I disconnected the battery for a day, reconnected it turned the engine on, did the 20X stomp thing, turned it off, did this 3X then drove it for 40 mi.

It took about 3 weeks to get rid of the CEL after the pulleys were installed. I never had a idle problem from the pulleys, only various intakes I have tried. The idle was actually very stable. SR makes very high quality products, they tend to overstate the expected HP and are not cheap. My idle is the most stable since I got the Greddy turbo installed. It is constantly at 850 to 950 RPM.

Love the Racing Beat aluminumFlywheel. I think it's one of the lightest out there. I have no complaints about it, and believe it makes my car respond and accelerate faster - more fun.
