SR Motorsports GT4 Kit

SR Motorsports posted their specs on the GT4 kit. You can find it here:

http://www.srmotorsports.com/Mazda_R...o_Results.html

Their most recent dyno, although not on the website right now, was said to bring almost 40hp for $1949 (excluding labor costs). Compare this to the Canzoomer mod and their Mid Pipe, Hi flow cat w/ res and catback bringing around 35 hp for around $1500 (excluding labor costs).

I wish they would post their dyno result..

Something interesting too is that the PCM update was not included as part of GT4 as originally planned.

I like the pullies...

This is what I'd like on mine (if I ever get one):

pullies
flywheel
canzoomer Stage2
resonated midpipe
catback

header if they ever design a really good one

I wonder how much gains I could get... :D

Later today I will be installing the SR flywheel/ACT clutch. I already have the other stuff listed above except the ECU. I will wait and install nitrous first and see what is available for ECU's at that time. So far, with intake and full-length exhaust the car sounds great and pulls strong above 4K. I can't get anyone to race me though! I guess the local punks with cat-backs and undercarriage lighting know a real car when they see one(haha).

And canzoomer is looking at 45+HP with a full stage2 setup as described. 25HP is stage1, but thats only 600 bucks.

Hm... CZ has not posted a dyno for the new stage 1, much less stage 2. Who knows what that 600 bucks is buying, 5 HP? 10 HP?.

I hate to keep pointing this out since I plan on buying the mod, but there is no way im paying cash for something that I have no idea what it does exactly; Especially with all the competition that is coming out now.

And here I was waiting for the ECU for the Auto! Boo!

If I replace a few more dinners with Skittles, I MAY be able to afford the GT-3 for Auto. lol.

I was using the broad estimates that have been mentioned before, and my updated stage1 was good for about that (22 to 27 on my g-tech), so close enough for me.

The old dyno was showing about the same gain. Seems well established to me it works by tuning the car properly.
