so many exhausts

so im looking to upgrade. sorry if there is an answer to these questions but i have been looking through forums and can not find. so i was thinking about a midpipe but decided no because their loud and smell. but then i saw the rp supercat. so now im thinking about that but was wondering if it was really loud like the AP midpipe and if it will still smell. i dont mind if it is loud but would prefer it not to be super loud (and dont want it sounding ricey). btw i want to get a catback to but can not decide on which one so if you know a good combo i would appreciate what you think. thanks for reading.

I suggest meeting local RX8 owners and hear for yourself what they sound like.
You won't get a clear answer because in the end it depends on YOUR preference and what YOU like.

And all mid-pipes are going to smell.
Might want to get on the list 05rex8 started for Racing Beat to develop a dual-resonated mid-pipe that will hopefully reduce the sound.

i have the mazdaspeed exhaust and rp supercat. i love it. its not loud when you are cruising or just driving normal but it screams when you get on it. go on youtube and type in "RX8 exhaust" all the major exhausts have a video on there. just remember it will sound a little different in person and with a highflow cat on.

Smell won't be the same.
Loudness depends on the mid-pipe. MOST mid-pipes will be louder than a high-flow cat.

from personal expirience my B&B midpipe is quieter than the hi-flow cat(rx7store) i use to have, smell is not too bad either and with tuning hardly noticable.

Im also torn between a RP SuperCat and RB DR midpipe.

But until RB gets a prototype out, I'ma get the RP SuperCat. Why you may ask?

Well, watch these videos with the Greedy SP2 Catback and the RP SuperCat.
