Which short shifter?

I am debating buying a short shifter but I am having a hard time finding what are my options. I know there is an Axial flow, but is that the same company as AFE? Also, what is the difference to look for in other short shifters?
I couldnt find this so im assuming its not a repost.

Yes, Axial flow and AFE are the same. You may also hear it called RP shifter which is short for Richard Paul the maker of it. I have it and I higly recomend it, it is slightly noiser than the stock one. The noise aint bad check out the threads.

+1. I gots the AFE/Axial Flow/RP/Snick-shifter/Click-shifter too! Many names...one shifter. Also, the Mazdaspeed costs almost twice as much. Go to the AFE website and read about the quality and guarantees offered by RP.

afe's was designed after looking at the ms shifter. the throw is shorter, and the product costs less. it's a quality product.
