Someone should use 1/2 a brain and accually build a Renisis rx-8 drifter. All the other drift RX-8s are 13b powered, and I know I love the stout little Renisis, and I'd love to see what it could do with a healthy amount of boost and a good suspension setup.

It wouldnt have to bee that much more power to get the job done. It all comes down to the driver really. Look at the AE86s out there. They have all of maybe 5hp... and thats with the hamster running as hard as his little legs will carry him on his wheel underneath the hood.

Cry02man you should have just saved 8grand and bought the 20b engine then bought a used 04 rx8! I put my house on that your 240 would get killed and you would be asking but but but my wonderful piston engine is so godly at 2000 rpm's! w00hoo!

well hey honestly cry02man............im glad that a company wanted to take an rx8, and make a drift car out of it using the renesis motor.................thats great, now im just curious that u bought an rx8 to make a pro drift car, yet u come on here n get flamed by some not sayin all people that dont know there *** from toilet paper......n u ask just a basic question n u get flamed n then u decide to go back n get urself a 240..........to represent for a drift car......i personally dont get it......if u wanna be different try goin for a platform that has potential.....if u really wanna make this car a drift car seek information from a real user on here such as guitarjunkie or rotarygod.........those two for example know there stuff, not like some people on here that just flame people that want information on there rx8s........however the flamin people do have a point there are countless threads here on the forum with people askin the same questions u did.......there primarily in the aftermarket performance section as well as major horsepower section.....
