Its f!@#@ing awesome! Two things...

1. IF you still have stock catback, go ahead and buy an upgraded catback now. The RP midpipe increases flow, and the stock mufflers will rattle around 4k.

2. Consider getting a highflow cat welded on and picking up an O2 fooler from casper. There are two reasons for this
a. It is about 98-104 dB with any decent catback and the midpipe (local law enforcement will hear you WAAAAAAAAY before they see you.)
b. It Smells REALLY bad, and if you think you have soot now.... haha just wait!
c. The stupid check engine light is annoying
d. Whenever you get serviced, the stupid check engine light will put up a big red flag at your dealer.

Ok otherwise... it is awesome! Even my wife is like... damn honey your car sounds mean! Also, if you have remote start, you will never have trouble finding your car again.

i have the B&B midpipe with the greddy catback...no cat at all. that sounded to raspy so i had my local muffler whop weld a dynomax resonator just before the mufflers and now its sounds mean as hell. a little raspy-ness when i get on it but it goes away after a while.

just plugged my O2 whole today, and had the fooler sensor but it was the wrong one...which i didn't realize till after i butchered it...sucks ***!

i still need to try and get some pictures up soon...

That is the midpipe I will eventually get. Does anybody know if Rotary Performance is the only place you can get the Rotary Performance midpipe?

You can buy it online as well.

www.rx8store.com

I think all the places I have seen it, sell it at the same price.

If you get the midpipe and have a hi-flow cat installed doesn't that just pretty much defeat the purpose. You might as well get the SR Motorsports or Canzoomer hi-flow cat units.

The RP midpipe replaces the cat or if you have a high flow cat, it will replace that as well.

Its been two weeks with the midpipe on and when i first put it on it was two raspy, so i added another resonator onto the midpipe hoping that it would go away, but it doesnt.

Anybody have any ideas on what could be done to get rid of this?
As well as what would be good that works to fool the O2 sensor so the cel light goes away?

Thanks

That's what I'm saying, if you are going to get a midpipe (which replaces the cat & resonator), then weld a hi-flow cat onto it you might as well just get the hi flow cat unit from Canzoomer or SR Motorsports. I was responding to slavearm's suggestion of welding a hi-flow cat to the midpipe.

I have the RP midpipe and removed it for now becuase of the check engine light. I purchased the Casper 02 Simulator 104052 and I couldn't get it to work. I'm pretty sure I wired it correctly. Maybe I purchased the wrong simulator?

Does anyone have a 02 fooler that works??

If i were you, I would call RP directly and ask to speak to Chris. He is very helpful and can give you a better answer than anyone on this board.

I want an answer to the O2 fooler question as well. I will be buying this piece when I figure it out, or more like when some-one else figures it out and can tell me with some degree of confidence.
