Cool Rev Limit

Hi.

It's been a long while since I've been here but i'm glad to see that the forum is filled with all kinds of new developing products and not just the Intake/exhaust thing that was going on for so long. Anyways, when i first joined I remember seeing all kinds of threads about possible ways to get the 8 to perform better. One of them was upping the rev-limit. I haven't been able to find much about it now, but i remeber someone suggesting that a center bearing may be needed to keep the e-shaft from flexing(i could be way off though). Can someone confirm this? Is anyone working on changing the rev-limit? Does anyone know of any more ways that haven't been discussed of getting more power out of the renesis?

Oh, one more thing....I read a long time ago that a company called MPS was building an RX-8 with a Sequential Transmission...this could've been completely rumor, but does anyone know of a sequential gearbox that will fit the 8 or of anyone who might be interested in developing one?

the rev limit wouldn't work too well, as the engine is basically running the intake ports at max efficiency at the redline as it is....we wouldn't be able to get in more air
