Unhappy RB Gage Pod Install:HELP

Here I am -Sat. nite installing my new pod. Everything going well until I finish installing foam strips. I go to the next step ....and there is no next step. RB did not send the rest of the instructions. What wires do I connect to ? Any hints on routing tubing? I'd like to finish this tonight if possible.

Did you look on the other side of the paper? Mine was printed on both sides.

Unhappy

Again all going well until time to hook up sensors. Any chance that RB mislabeled sensor lines? The H2O line screws in all the way but the probe is loose in the fitting but it fits tightly in the oil adapter and vice versa. Anyone else run into this?

There is an adapter inbetween the H2O probe and T Block also. Check out my photos here https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...&page=11&pp=15
My oil pressure line is SS cause I didn't want to use the plastic one after having a problem with it. But the H20 & Oil temp is the same as yours .

It worked. You are my HERO. Why didn't RB mention the adapters in the instruction or make it impossible to screw the sensor into the adaptor body? After I get done cleaning up the gallon of antifreeze on the floor and get some lunch I'll attempt the oil side( I too, took your advice and have a SS line for my oil pressure. I'll post later tonight if all goes well, if not I may have gone crazy. Thanks again.

As Expo1 mentioned in another thread, it's much easier if you connect all the fittings/connectors/sensors to the oil adaptor plate first, then install the plate to the oil filter housing.

That's what I did but in the process I cut the O ring(of course I didn't know it till oil leaked all over the place). This has become the project from hell. Looks like I'll pull the plate off and get a new O ring(maybe 2 or 3) when RB opens on Tuesday. I'll put the filter back on without the plate. Thanks to everone for their help.

My install didn't go smooth the first time also, witness the SS oil presure line. A good hardware store should have O-rings you can use. Bring the plate in with you of course.

everyone need to put the stainless steel oil pressure line in with the oil pressure gauge---you will be glad later! Costs more--sure -----but go ahead and do it right--I know That vinyl line--sooner or later is going to leak.
