Hey I am new here just got an rx8 and was thinking about buying the racing beat REV8 exhaust. Can someone tell me how it is on the car and give me a small description of the sound?

I have it with the twin tips and the straight pipe in the middle. It sounds like my car making sweet love to my ears and everybody around me gets to watch in jealousy.

seriously, just youtube the bloody thing. you can't really question the quality of the parts, so it's really a matter of if you like the sound of it. i love mine! it's loud enough to make you tingle in all the right places without being childish or obnoxious.

the only way to really know how it's going to sound is to drive around in someone's car who has one. Clips are almost always from the outside and I don't know many people who can pull that trick off when driving their own car.

 

The best description is its not loud unless you're above 4-5k. It doesn't drone. It's refined and mature sounding, like a factory performance exhaust.

I could only imagine how it sounds with a midpipe variant.
