Racing Beat with Replacement Cat

Does anyone have this setup? I looked for some videos but only found one.

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/racing-beat-rev8-cat-replacement-pipe-118755/#post1919853

I'm hoping to have enough money saved to buy this setup sometime in the next couple of months. If anyone can find or can post a video of what it sounds like i'd really appreciate it.

'replacement cat'?
you need to be more specific.

are you referring to a race pipe? (aka unresonated midpipe)
are you referring to Racing Beat's dual resonated midpipe?

that thread talks about a race pipe which is insanely loud.

I've never heard just a straight pipe but from driving around with my agency power midpipe which is dual resonated and still pretty damn loud, a straight pipe would be way to loud. You should consider getting one from RB with the resonators.

I don't think it will be real bad, I guess i'll find out before to long. It can't be any louder than some of the Mustangs around here.

Well I was going to get the catback anyways, the catalytic converter replace pipe is only 260 so it won't be that bad of a loss. I'll get it as well and see how it goes. Worse comes to worse i'll just put the stock midpipe back on.

I think with the agency power midpipe I have now I could easily get a loud exhaust ticket, most of the sound is from the resonance at 3-4k because I am still running the stock cat back. It did make it noticeably louder other than that though, but in a good way.

I live in a small town, cops aren't really to strict with exhaust noise unless you're just showing off. I seen a guy in town today with no exhaust in a loud *** chevy. It all just depends on what kind of cop you go by I suppose.
