Racing beat Intake - Quick question

Hey guys
I was cleaning my RB intake cone when I noticed that something must have got sucked into the intake box through the Rb duct and pulled the screen that is located right before the MAF sensor. Its not to bad but its stretched and torn pretty bad in some spots. I want to install a new one. Does anyone know where to get this screen? I don't remember if it's a RB part of a mazda part. And its sunday- no one is open.

Any help would be great thanks guys- didn't search cause I got a lot going on right this second.-- I got my fire extinguisher thou.

Racing Beat has to sell it, Racing Beat sells some stuff thats not on their website in their actual STORE/MAIN OFFICE. I've picked up all the Exhaust Flanges that they use to make their Catback and MidPipe. They sure didnt have it on their website (at least the flange Im talking about). But when I called them they were more than happy to assist me and they told me the exhaust Flange I was looking for is $15+ shipping. Racing Beat has a very intelligent staff on deck that know exactly how to figure out what the **** I was talking about. The reason I say that is because Mazdatrix is located closer to me So I tried them first, but when I called Mazdatrix they didnt know nothing, I tried describing to them which flange I needed and he didnt know NADA. The guy that answered the phone was like "Well we get our exhaust parts from Racing Beat, so maybe you should call them." I was Lol'ing, but anyways..... CALLL RACING BEAT ON monday. They should have replacement parts for their own intake systems.

OK guys

I finally came to my senses yesterday and realized that the stock air box comes with two screens. So if you have a damaged screen you can used the other screen that the stock box uses.

So the screens are a mazda part that RB does not supply. If you still have the stock air box that carefully remove the second screen and install it in the RB intake box.

I didn't call Mazda to see what the price of these screens are.

Thanks for the offer pbuck-- what are you looking to get for the screens ? It's always good to have back up

Many folks here run with just one screen, but I feel there's a [laminar flow] reason that two were provided. Manufacturers don't like to provide "extra" parts, so there must have been a sound design purpose for having two screens.

edit: but having said that there was a design purpose to the stock box side baffles, which I've removed.

OP, your air filter allowed something through large enough and with sufficient velocity to damage your screen? Does not compute!

RB intake sucks rocks in to our engines? and I thought the k&n was bad. All jokes aside that means what ever got sucked up went throught the air filter too!!!
