I bought my REVi from RX8 Store. Took about a week to get but other than that, I wound up saving some coin.

 

what about mazdaspeed exhaust will rb exhaust be better how about the sound which one is not to loud.

 

it took seven days to get to new orleans, i put it on in about an hour the rubber clamps kicked my *** hope yours are nicer. but your gonna love it

 

The trick with the rubber hangers is to take wd40 or some other lubricant with a straw thingy for spray and stick the straw thingy in the hole of the hanger and lube it up, prys off so much easier then. Without that, they are so aggravating. And yes, look it up, "straw thingy" is a techinical term

They hear those RB exhaust go zoom zzom down the road.

 

Got the Magnaflow exhaust myself (I happen to like big exhaust tips) and Eibach lowering springs. I would do the exhaust myself but I live at a nice apartment complex so they don't allow you to work on your car there. All the speedshops here in Birmingham are backed up but I may luck out with a guy I know at the Meinike (sp?) shop close by. The exhaust will be $50 but the springs will be $300 for all 4. Is that steep for the springs?

My grin was freaking huge and eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store whilst unwrapping it. I'll definatly buy from rx7store again, and definatly buy a racing beat product again. Both are great quality.

I installed it myself. Cost me $8 for 2.5 hours to rent a lift bay at the auto hobby shop on base. Yes, I said two and a half hours, I'm not totally mechanically inept, but never took shop class as a kid. I just like the satisfaction of spending 8 bucks, and doing it myself, rather than paying $50 to wait around drinking stale coffee.

I absolutly love the quality of the exhaust, the sound, the bit of performance gain. It's all great. But, the instructions are a bit lacking in the area of dealing with a car which has been exposed to the elements for a year. I actually sheared two bolts off. Couldn't beleive how much rust there was on the stock exhaust system.

Now that I got it installed, maybe someone can explain to me how I'm supposed to get at the 17mm nut that is hiding behind the hanger for the catalytic converter. I never did get to it. Instead I removed the exhaust from it's hangers, removed the mid pipe from it's, and slipped the whole thing out of that damned bolt. I hate that bolt, I really do.

The bolt I'm referring to is one of the ones that is one with the spring on it, left side of the catalytic converter. I swear, another half inch forward and it would have been enough room. That and all of the bolts on the car were tightened by an overzealous sumo wrestler with a grudge. But that's not to do with racing beat, it's a mazda thing.

To be honest, it took 10 minutes to lift and cool the exhaust, took 40 minutes to remove the old one, one hour was spent bitching about it and figuring a way past the inacessible nut. The new exhaust went in, about 5 minutes, and the rest of the time was spent checking in tools and sweeping up.

Great exhaust, I wish I'd been able to talk my wife into getting it sooner. Now I have to work on getting a Revi w/ ram air scoop.
