it's the most performance mod you can do on a 8, correct me if i'm wrong.

 

And also, whether or not a midpipe will give you much horsepower, is very much dependent on how clogged your cat is. If you went showroom to dyno with the car, it probably wouldn't make that much of a difference. But if you have an 04 with 80,000 miles that you seafoamed the he'll out of, it'll be a whole different car.

 

Q: I installed an RB midpipe and an HKS catback about 2 weeks ago and I was wondering if that can lead to any problems such as the higher than normal idol I'm e experiencing. Maybe the increased emissions are taking a toll on the o2 sensors? The only cel I have is the p0420 code for not having a cat and such.

 

Any way to prevent the check engine light on an '09+ RX8?
