Talking Racing Beat Catback w/ Mazsport Dual Resonated Midpipe Vid

I got my catback and midpipe installed so I thought I would do a video...

In the garage...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7QHzYU-D00
drive by...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAhpZbx18lA
drive back...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fax83yYr4c8
It's my first video post so be gentle.

Edit: These videos had 2 blown gaskets that had to be replaced. I added the new vidz below.

A local guy had the same combo and didn't like how quiet it was (strange to hear that).
So he ended up getting an AP cat-back.
But the RB and MazSport combo did sound well together.

Thanks guys and it does sound good just loud enough that I can hear it and I can still talk to people in my car. I can hear it in the cabin but it isn't overbearing the AP is a lot louder. I have a gutted cat that Noguni gave me and he says it sounds awesome, I'm gonna throw on this weekend to see how it sounds and see which one I like better. More to come.

Edit: I just realized I threw up the wrong vidz. I'll fix it tomorrow.

You serious? It's definitely good sounding. Not very loud though.

All we need to hear is the BHR midpipe with this catback

Sounds nice and refined too, you should've gone WOT though, to get the real sound from the exhaust.

Nothing? No CEL = Catalytic Converter (RP Supercat), not a midpipe. You are asking for the holy grail on that one. BHR or RB double resonated are the closest midpipes you'll find though.

You have a good ear, I thought about going WOT but it "popped" in my buddy's face and he kinda screamed. He said he got burned a little. I shall do this...

For the record, I prefer the cross-flow/chambered mufflers that come with the Racing Beat, Borla, and HKS Legamax cat-backs (and other similar exhausts) and think they lend themselves to deeper, smoother, exhaust tones.
I made sure that to whole exhaust is and will be 3". Made it a little difficult on Ray and had to have a "special" made. I agree the cross-flow/chambered muffler exhausts do have that deeper exotic tone.

I had this setup also. RB Catback with mazsport midpipe. . .

Honestly, it didn't change the sound of the RB catback from the stock cat. That is the reason why i went with the AP and sold the RB. I just wanted something more aggressive.
I pay for it though with some highway drone... but that's why I have an upgraded stereo.

Good videos though! Definitely better than stock cat+exhaust set-up. Way better.

I'm running the same setup, racing beat cat back with the mazsport mid pipe. Its the perfect combo in my eyes. Sounds great without and the attention other pipes can cause

Presently I am running a Racing Beat cat back with a Pettit straight mid pipe (no resinator). While I love the sound during normal driving, it becomes a little to loud when I get into the heavy boost. I am sure that Ray's mid pipe will just quiet me down a little under boost.

I agree... it makes a deeper sound without increasing the volume.

However... I was looking for louder too.

This is a great set-up to get the power-gains from cat-less, and the flames, and better tone, without the volume or drone...
