Racing Beat or Agency Power DR Midpipe w/stock exhaust?

Has anyone heard the racing beat dr midpipe or the agency power midpipe on a stock exhaust system?

I've seen some YouTube videos with the AP on a stock catback and it sounds pretty nice, however in the video below I hear a rasp at around 4K. That worries me.

I heard the BHR midpipe on youtube as well and that sounds nice, but is a bit much for me.

I havent found any videos/sound clips of the racingbeat midpipe on a stock exhaust, so I'm looking to see if anyone has heard them in person.

I don't plan on getting an aftermarket exhaust as I'm trying to be as stealth as possible and I don't want it to get too loud.

Do you hear rasp at around 4k?

AP pipe is raspy in mid ranges. RB pipe is not.

All Midpipes can be found slightly raspy in certain areas of the power band. From what we have seen the AP is quite a winner in most cases. Especially when looking at bang for the buck. The Dual Resonators do their job very well and last. I think that one in the video needs to be broken in more though.

With a stock exhaust the AP midpipe makes a very good combo. Another way is to do it with the full AP exhaust.

There should be some good videos out on youtube. LMK if you have any other questions though.

Yeah, after doing more searching it looks like the AP midpipe is getting comments about rasp in the midrange. Looks like I'll be going with the RB pipe.
