Hey cool looks like there is a CPU replacement/piggyback unit there too. Hmmm, I think it says it takes out the speed limiter, and alter spark? Anyone know about that unit either?

Pro Staff R Magic is one of the major rotary tuners in Japan, offering similar products and sevices as FEED (Fujita Engineering) and RE Amemiya.

The RMagic ECU is not a piggyback or replacement as I understand it. It seems to be an ECU flash. They ask you to bring your car in if possible, if not mail in your ECU to them.

It offers a speed limiter cut (~180km/h) and a rev limiter cut in the base model. The top model offers different a/f and ingnition.

Do you guys think the R Magic would gain more HP than the B&B?

No it won't. First, basically all "straight" mid-pipes of equal diameter will give equal perfomance. It's pretty hard to screw up a straight 3" diameter piece of basic piping.

The RMagic unit is not a "straight" pipe, but a high flow/high temp cat. with resonator. This will not flow as well as a "straight" mid-pipe, but it is significantly better than stock. Canzoomer sells a similar prodcut made by Random Technology. A comparision between these two? I am willing to bet the power produced is very similar. Things are still pretty basic... the only difference is possibly a freer flowing cat. And considering the sound complaints, that award might go to Canzoomer.

All in all? The RMagic unit isn'r worth... what $700 or $800? Canzoomer's is half that price.

20sin... considering that we are in Australia... getting the RMagic from Japan will equal the price of getting Canzoomer shipped from US...

Get it? The US mailing price to Australia is HUGE! Consider like $600US for the midpipe?! USPS charges an arm and a leg.

The best way to get stuff --- by far ---- is from Japan directly (you may even get a discount) or via SouthEast Asia trading points(Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.). Shipment is the major cost in mods in Australia. That is why we support Hymee and Ric Shaw.

but... Canzoomer is from Canada, wouldn't him being in the Commonwealth make a difference to shipping costs??

but really, yes, in the end just get the cheaper one if you're looking for a high-flow cat. and don't forget: on its own it will do next to nothing as the stock cat isn't exactly being restrictive (which can be said of just about every component of this car at stock tune). get the Rick Shaw piggyback to go along with this however, and yes there should be some appreciable benefit.

It depends on alot of things, if it replaces the CAT, if it has baffles or resonators etc. If it doesen't replace the cat and has baffles/resonators then its probably going to make your car sound more thorough or in other words more open, it won't sound clogged up.

If vice versa, it will make it ALOT louder.
