Do the larger 4" tips radiate enough heat to cause any warpage of the ABS plastic shroud surrounding them??

I've had the exhaust for about 6 months now, and no issues of warpage

 

i don't see this happening on any exhaust, short of some thin straight pipes and no cat. that plastic's pretty tough.

 

Art, no such problems observed here.

 

i have a greddy sp2 with huge tips. no warpage in the least bit.

sometimes i do wish i would have bought the rb though. maybe in a few months....

 

i have had mine for about six months, No problem here, just dont brush your leg up against the tips when their hot, I have a bad habbit of doing that when I walk around to the back of the car to open the trunk. Does somebody smell burning flesh?

 

I've got 4" Hymee stainless tips, no problems. Though Hymee melted his shrouds while doing extended dyno work with no airflow. He's the only person I've seen who's posted with this issue......he has 4" tips, too.
