I understand that MazdaSpeed parts are very high quailty but I still dont understand why the are so expensive.

$5800 for a set of rims! Thats a lot for four, very nicely made and colored, hunks of metal.

 

im guessing your talking about the magnesium rims... well the reason theyre so expensive is cause they are made of magnesium and SUPER light weight. I guess the only people who would buy those rims are the REALLY rich or the hardcore track racers.

 

SSR Competition rims weigh less and cost a LOT less. Don't look bad either. Check them out at tirerack.com

Care to elaborate? Just how am comparing apple and oranges? The SSR's are less than 1/3rd the cost AND weigh less. What else do we need to know?

I was talking abought the "MAG" wheels, but all MazdaSpeed parts seem to be overpriced.

 

i would buy them if i was FILTHY rich but not if i just had the money.
