Alright I just installed mine last night. Well I have to say I am impressed. My 8 has 52,xxxmi on it and I am the second owner for 8,xxxmi of it. I have had electrical problems in the past and I was looking for the grounding kit to smooth everything out. Which is did.

On to the pics!

Battery, Alternator, and Throttle Body connections

Throttle Body and Alternator

2 Body Grounds

^^Again

Everything from the Passenger Side

Everything covered again

Now I just filled up last night (For 1.99/gal for 93 Octane WIN!!), I'll see if i get a mpg boost. But i doubt it...sine I'ma be running the car a little harder now

I'd recommend this product for anyone who wishes to add 4 more grounds to the factory grounds; to any one who wishes to effectively and inexpensively stabilize their electrical system.

Flex Innovations = High Quality; Period.

I'm sure that if you wanted another cable, Flex Innovations could cut you an additional wire.

What would be the purpose of that anyways? Is it really nessicary? If so they would've included it in the kit, no?

^^ True. I still stand firm in believing that the 4 additional locations are great spots for a ground.

If your very **** about it, get a multimeter and start searching the engine bay for grounds.

Check this out if you wanna go searching for grounds.

I thought I would share with you guys, I was checking out the mazda 3 big 3 wire cause i was currious, what it is, 4ga wires that grounds the Engine, Chassis, Battery Negative, and also adds to Positive Alternator . Anyways I asked if they were going to have something like that for the 8 and they said yes. It will be up for sale in a couple of weeks.

No, you bought it for $40

If you're that worried about it, go buy some 4 gauge insulated wire and some gold ring terminals and slap them in there. Of course you could have done that in the first place too.

The Big 3 kit is mainly for users with big sound systems who want the additional grounds. It's not necessarily better just more insurance for those who have a higher power demand.

Well from altspace's pic I don't see a Throttle Body ground, or a alternator, nor the 2 OEM grounds on the passenger side.

Well do you know the quality of the 4ga wires? These 8ga wires are not messing around.

Also what are those cables shielded with? I know the Flex kit has got some crazy heat resistant shielding.

The only thing that would possibly make it better would be the addition of more grounds...but then again idk of more spots. If i have time this weekend, i'll break out the multimeter and go hunting.

heres what i got from them,
Big3, adds alternator POWER wire with a fuse. It also uses 4ga wire instead of 8ga and connects the engine block to the chassis, and battery negative to the same spot.

BIG3 is more for car audio people.
Grounding kit is a drive ability mod.

Well its mainly for people who have big sound systems in their car. Im thinking of getting this when it comes out because i have subs in the car, and thinking of adding another amp and speakers.

FAIL!! $1.89 and it's ethanol free.

Seriously though ordered mine in the diamond black on 9 dec. Looks like it might take a few more days to get here with all the rain. Talked to a guy at ups yesterday and he told me a lot of trucks are going to be 1 day behind

Well after having is installed for almost a week, I like it!

I find that my mpg hasn't gone up or down (I have a mix of highway and city driving and very short distance driving). But I can say that my car seems to perform better @ high rpms. As I stated on my first post on this thread, my 8 has had some electrical problems in the past. Now, everything is running smoothly. Flex FTW.
