Preventive aftermarket parts?

i dont think this is in the wrong place, but i couldnt find a thread summary for preventive aftermarket parts, can anyone list some of the parts, that would be a good idea to replace, more for maintenance, rather than gains?

Koyo is crap, that is what I have and now my car runs hotter than it did with the stock one. I am in process of dealing with it at the moment even though it is only a month old. It's not an issue now but i bet it will be when I am on the track in 100F weather.

I was cheap, don't be. Just get the Mazmart or BHR.

Radiator, water pump (Mazmart's), BHR coil upgrade and the right lubricants.
Premix
High flow cat.
Oil pressure mod, maybe. I like it but there's no hard data to back it up.
Change the radiator ONLY if you have to. Excessive cooling is dangerous.

Yes, depending on where you live there could be over cooling issues.

I would also recommend the reinforced clutch pedal bracket and assembly.

regarding the koyo, one of my friends said he noticed a pretty big gap underneath the koyo between his stock under tray, he has since filled the gap with some foam and noted that his temps are much better than before. I dont know from first hand experience, but this is what i've heard.

Next on my list of things to get is the water pump and thermostat from mazmart

c0ldf1ame: yup, most of these radiators do not have the foam around the edge like the OEM and that allows air to escape.
Whenever you install an aftermarket radiator, make sure to reuse the foam off the OEM or go buy some extra.

You guys would be amazed at how much of a difference that foam can make.

nah, I dont' consider catch cans to be all that important.
I've never had one, and never needed it.
