Pipe dimensions for SP2 vs. Stock?

I have the opportunity to buy just the rear muffler section of a Greddy SP2 cat back exhaust system. It will not include the pipe that runs between the CatConv and the mufflers. I would like to know if the rear SP2 section will mate up against the stock pipe? Are the flanges the same and what is the diameter of both the pipe and the SP2?

Basically will I be able to bolt everything together without any additional mods?

Lastly, will I still get a nice sound? I don't expect more power.... it's just a farting device IMHO, but I like to fart...

There is no flange for the stock set in that location.

Totally different layout than the Greedy SP2.

Take a look at the pics in my post here and you should see the difference: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/yay-new-greddy-exhaust-114110/

I just noticed that I didn't take a close-up shot of the stock non-flanged connection, so I just snapped one now and added it to the Kodak gallery in my post above.

Hopefully now you can truly see the difference.

There's no way to mate the Greddy SP2 the stock piece without fabrication.
