A preference is something that each person develops .... my preference is different than your preference...

go out to some local meets, find someone with an rx8 with an exhaust, listen, and come to a conclusion.

Performance and exhaust should be a non issue, remove that from your search

Like brian said, the only one that fits the S2 8 is the MS one and the Racing Beat one ... the others need to be modified by either extending hangars, or bending tips (preferred so you dont scrape mufflers).

Series 2. The facelifted and slightly "improved" version.

My 8 is a 2004 base model. So these exhaust I've pick out should be are ok for my 8. I should have no problem installing them right?

take a look at your regional forums then: https://www.rx8club.com/se-rx-8-forum-30/
You should be able to find something!
I have a mazdaspeed exhaust btw so i am biased towards the corksport one over the others =)

I have the GReddy SE. Fitment is A+ and the tone is to my liking....not to aggressive. As others have said it depends on what your looking for, they are all nice exausts.

Greddy SP2 is quite nice. Not to much of a drone, and captures the rotary engines sound well. I'd say that or the corksport. I have a CS SRI and TIP on my Speed and its dead nasty.

EDIT: Go with CS as you can also get their midpipe.

^ Sp2 is discontinued. You would have to buy one used.
