performance chips

Just wondering what the best kind of performance chip is for my 04. I've looked at the Unichip but that's about it...

Racing Beat does have an ECU program upgrade though. You take it out and send it too them and they install their updates.

They have two versions - one for street and one strictly for track use.

mdlnfield: You're getting smart *** answers because we can tell you did not use the 'search' feature of this forum.

It's okay though...here's the low down. There are currently NO chip mods for the RX-8. You'd be amazed how tricky our ECU is, it's taken YEARS to crack it and we've just gotten started.

I think your best option is the Racing Beat Reflash. You'll need to send them your ecu and they'll reflash it for you. Benefits = higher redline, nicer power curve, and the oil cooler temps are lowered
