Ok, Already I see the flames commin so wait a sec!!! I bought my Car in Little Rock...... Bought a Greddy Exhaust system for it and shipped my car with me to germany..... I have a Friend thats German (He's the GM of Auto Jegen - Mazda dealer in Bitberg) Anyway... He said he'd give me $1100 strait up for my exhaust... and so being the entrapenuer that I am of course I took it. (I paid $610 for it!!!)

SO... now I need a new exhaust and although I was in every way happy with my Greddy, Ive decided to go with a borla this time to see if theres a big difference. If I dont like it, there are lotz of other germans over here that would love to get an exhaust for a car that hasnt been out for a month yet (RX8 was realeased in Germany on Jan 21 2004) So Ill keep ya posted as soon as I find someone able to send me a borla to my APO,AE address. Or if someone knows someone or has any idea's for me that would be great!!

 

When you said flames, I thought you meant from the exhaust! haha.

 

I looked and heard both, I think the Greddy looks well made, much better fit and finish.....sounds better too

I have yet to see any owner of one product once they had it installed declare that the liked the other better. I hope you get the borla and at least we will have an honest opinion of someone that has owned and used both on the same car. If after that you feel the borla lacking for whatever reason, you can sell it, frankly your last sale already paid for the borla!

 

That it did BVD, good point, I think for the sake of testing I need to follow through with my origional plan now back to my problem.... I cant find anyone that will ship me a cat-back for less than $250 shipping

 

I don't think my Borla could have fit any better. I could have installed the whole thing using only my butt cheeks! The Borla is sweet and I can't say a bad thing about it.

I did not say that was Borla was bad at all, it was very nice.
I just said I like the Greddy better and I have had both.
Just my opinion and only that. Kind of like the 350Z vs. RX-8 interior, the interior of the RX-8 is superb the Z is just nice!!!!
