I have not seen it myself. But the guy who told me about it said it worked in his RX8.... so you can give it a try if you want and let us know for sure how it works..

the only working "o2 simulator" is the masking function through the Cobb AP

Yeah, please let know us,.. but I'm thinking, if doesn't work and if doesn't have a filter that O2 Sensor simulator, we could put a little bit of ceramic from a used cat converter with a little bit of that white thing that look like cotton to convert the gases. And the sensor will receive filtered gases.

What do you think?. , maybe it's weird idea, but could work.

IF it did work you would have to get it just right...

the idea of that thing linked in post 33 is that....

With out cats it will read too much fuel etc...

the "fooler" just restricts what the gasses the sensor is exposed to, to try to bring it down..

But again, you would have to get it just right.

I don't think it would work very well.

Get the Apex RX8 programmer for $239:
http://www.obdscan.net/RX8_PGM.htm

Dump your rom, then find this section:

The actual addresses may vary a bit.

Edit it like so...

Flash it back.

Cheapest method?

Is studying how our pcm works and why, as a consequence, the o2 foolers can't work too hard for you guys?

The cobb would be considered to expensive if all it did was fool the o2 sensor, but it can do so much more. It is really worth every penny you spend on it.

I found my problem, my O2 Sensor was damaged because was hit when the ceramic/content of the catalytic converter was removed.

I installed a new OEM O2Sensor with a Magnaflow catalytic converter (adapted to the oem MidPipe,. And my problem was solved.

Thank you,,
