I have a very hard time believing this... Maybe a 250cc bike, but not a proper sports bike, not without a good bit of modifications to your 8.

You gots to launch at high rpm, rev to redline, and shift fast to take on those minivans

rev up to about 4k, then slam it into drive. Launching is even easier in an auto.

I'm all for flaming but I feel like this was a decent question. If you are looking for a bit more power off the line then do the lightened flywheel and maybe pulleys and practice more. As mentioned before this is an all-around drivers car so you have to focus more on your abilities as a driver and take advantage when you can (downhill sharp twisties). So if you're asking how to get a little more pop off the line then I think you have your answer, if you want to race your friend in his mustang down the highway then yeah, get a new car and stop wasting threads!
