Question Nitrous button

so i just installed a NOS nitrous kit on my 8 but i dont wan to to use the original microswitch that came with the kit, so ive been trying to find adapters that fit the oem steering wheel with the butons....the best way i can explain them is what Johnny Tran has on his S200 when he beats the jetta ( the fast and the furious)....does anyone know where i can find them?????

I haven't seen anything of that nature.

Sounds like you'll just have to rewire it.

^^ well i installed the arming swicth in one of the slots but it would be hard to be switching hands to be able to press the button if i were to install it there also...something close to the shifter or on the steering wheel will be easier...the kit came with a switch that located under the gas pedal and will be activated at WOT but im not really feeling it

why arent you feeling the w.o.t controller? arm the system when you full throttle then she sprays...but on the subject, you want something you can put in the factory steering wheel spot??? havnt seen the NOS kit but should some regular speaker wire or w/ not and button and some wire hiding work? and button at a parts store should work its not really rocket science when they put these kits together

there's a reason people in real life use a WOT switch and not something on their steering wheel. Perhaps you could read up on it and save yourself lots of headaches

It would be sweet if you could rewire the cruise control On/off button to arm and the cancel button to activate the nos.

Typically, people install nitrous to go faster.

Do you have any experience whatsoever with nitrous on an RX8 mr 9 post?

55 shot has proven safe on RX8's. Search before posting useless posts.

hey greddy, how many engines have you blown on nitrous, if the answer is zero then you have no room to talk about what it can and cannot do.

leave the suggestions to the people who have experience and knowhow, somthing you seem to lack.

there is nothing wrong with using nos, it's a cheap and very effective way to get a lot of horsepower quickly. Unfortunatly for the OP, most people decide to go this route after reading and researching it.. not from watching a movie and thinking "cool, i want a button on my steering wheel"

this comment is exactly why people think nitrous is unsafe, and thus people like greddy617c come in here and spread misinformation.

do some research please. zumn and greddy.
