A new MS Exhaust owner

This weekend a fellow 8 owner, a friend and I installed the MS Dual Muffler Exhaust. Install went fine until the very last bolt...and we will leave it at that

Sound: Idle, it is quiet with a slight rumble to it. It is very throaty, and deep but still carries a weird pitch (rotary whine) to it. It isn't raspy (inside and out) at all which is great! Going through the gears is nice and I find once I reach my cruising speed, the exhaust really isnt heard at all. I cruise about 70-73mph on the highway and don't notice the exhaust at all. Upon other reviews, the sound is really controlled by the throttle. So just let me tell you, going through the rpms in this thing is just pure multiple orgasms. Sounds exotic/race car-ish. The exterior, it sedate but carries that deep base tone, that as you go up in the rpm range, sounds a bit FI-ish. My roommate described it as a vacuum that was possessed by the devil and is extremely pissed off!

Finish: Looks excellent! Very nice welds, and overall great quality. I like the Mazdaspeed etching on the tips. I also love (this was my main driving point!!!) that due to the dual muffler design the mufflers tuck under the rear bumper. I especially do not like seeing the muffler of a car from the rear!

All in all, I love this exhaust and highly recommend it!

I just installed my Corksport, which is from what I read, identical to the MS, and I love it. Your description is spot-on. What you need now is the MS intake.. the two together really give you a nice sound ;-)
