How can a copy be revolutionary? They just tried to do something similar to Re-amemiya's super dolphin...

This is my review of the exhaust:

Opened up the box and this is what i found =D (+2 tshirts and stickers)

Then after awhile of fighting an epic battle with the exhaust hangers (more epic than master chief fighting a rancor that has a fricking laser beam on its head), I got off the old exhaust (no I was not the one who put that freakish thing in the car. came with the car when i bought it)

Finally i got everything installed!

So the exhaust is loud. Even with my resonated midpipe. Its extremely aggressive which I like. It reminds me of the rx7's IMO. When accelerating lower rpm's it the sound isnt the best in the world. Cruising it stays pretty quite though so I can't complain. Even on the highway its not to loud. This exhaust sounds best when the rpm's get past 4k. Floor it and you will be satisfied guaranteed (then again what exhaust isn't like that?)

Performance gains? This has been covered plenty of times. Besides i wouldn't be able to notice because my SSV valve has been throwing a CEL code and i have an exhaust leak where the exhaust and the midpipe connect due to having the wrong gasket. I will be ordering a donut gasket to try and fix the problem (and any other suggestions would be useful). Also, the exhaust weighs 33.8 lbs.

The exhaust is a wicked looking piece. Overall the exhaust isnt exactly what I thought it was but I am happy with it. I finally have a car that will sound as badass as my neighbors rb swapped 240 lol. Thanks to Dan@Assualtech for helping me out with my order.

Well this is fun, looks like they are "in production" on their S2 version:

Significantly louder than stock even with a catted midpipe. But, not obnoxiously loud. I don't know if the exhaust got quieter over time or I just got used to it. I think I also adjusted my driving style a bit to keep it quiet around my neighbourhood and open it up elsewhere.

I installed mine a couple weeks ago and I think I'm in love. The sound is absolutely amazing when you put your foot down, and very reasonable when you want it to be like Azzuro said. The shipping time was a struggle, but that may be because I'm impatient when it comes to car parts. I actualy noticed a power gain as my tires screech when I try to drive fast. (shift faster) so more torque I guess. I am happy with this set up for sure.

I thought this as well. Finally, one day I got a friend to stand behind my car while I revved and revved in the parking lot. It made a great sound, but alas no flames (cat doing it's job I guess)

I have the Racing Beat Dual Resonated midpipe. From what I hear on the forums, BHR is the quietest midpipe followed by RB. I cant promise a video anytime soon but I was planning on doing one.

The only difference is the titanium finish. No difference in weight or performance. However I believe they discontinued the stainless version because I was planning on buying that version originally. From what I remember, a lot of people had a problem with the RI melting the exhaust shrouds hence why they made the RII with muffler tips that are doubled walled

As far as I know, only Hoss-05 (however you spell his user) has it. It adds an additional resonator to pipe connecting the cat and the muffler.

Color issues?

Hey guys, I actually got my exoticspeed a while ago and am loving the sound, and for the most part looks. My only issue is, the tips don't seem to match..... Did anyone else who went with the burnt blue tips notice this?

I contacted exoticspeed and they said they don't guarantee anything color/looks wise.... but if I wanted I could ship it back and they'd send a replacement, but I had them put on by a shop and don't feel like paying to get it taken off and have the stock one put on....

What do you guys think? (Note I was adjusting the tips cause they weren't exactly even in this picture, was a quick fix though).

I had the same problem with the uneven exhaust... just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet...
As for the tips i would suspect they don't all come out exactly the same, there can be variations of the color. This is just my best guess i dont really know much about the process.

The color looks fine. As for the tips, that's an easy fix. I was like you brett and put it off, but it's really only about 5min with a socket. If you loosen the bolts that connect the tip to the muffler, you should be able to level them out. The piece I'm talking about is shown here:

Yep, the people I had install it said they couldn't adjust it to straighten it out. I asked exotic speed and it took a while before some one there pointed out the tip can be adjusted like you said azzuro.

Took less than 5 minutes. Just loosen two bolts, move it to where it looks okay, tighten them back up. You're done. They are easily within reach if you just lay on your back with a shoulder under the bumper.

I'm talking with Dan at assault tech and will probably buy another set of tips, and this time give them a closer look. I might just be being picky though.

The sound however is great.
