Ok so my Rx8 is stock right now and i know it has roughly 232hp. ive been reading up on the post using the search function and cant seem to get the info i want.Im trying to get the car to around 300HP and the only way i can see to do it would be the Turbo. But this looks like overkill to me The Esmeril can output alot more then im looking for. So could use a few pointers here. ty

I think the reason no has bothered with input is because the information is already out there. To start, most ppl that dyno their cars get 180-200 whp. There's plenty of threads about dyno results including 1 that is a sticky. Next thing, the 8 really doesn't have any mods that will give substantial hp gains (excluding FI and spray). Again there are plenty of threads that explain this as well. Finally, Emeril has a standard turbo kit that u may want to look into.

 

You actually already answered yourself. 300 easy hp = turbo = 10.000 or so $ to do everything right.
