Need help with Push Button Start....

I recently purchased the Mazda push button start. As you all know it is made for the Japanese version of the car so it cant be installed in the coin slot......No problem....I'm cool with that, BUT....All the instructions were in Japanese......

Is there a PDF or something with the english version? Anyone know?

I just happen to know of a site that sells this specific upgrade:

Interior Upgrades from JapanParts

and scroll down to the second from last upgade

And yes, it's only for RHD cars...

I have it installed in the place of the mini disk, (under the radio ****, same place as Stealth installed his) It was a pain in the *** to mount there, I wouldn't recommend it. I had to cut it out of it's original harness and then make another one..
I also ended up cutting it out of the wire harness and wiring it the same way Stealth did, only difference is that it has 2 wires that have to be grounded. The reason I didn't use the harness is because I didn't want to have to press the clutch down, so now I can open the window and start the car from outside without having to get in.
Someone else used the wire harness successfully from mounting it in the lighter location, so lengh wise it fits & yes he too had a LHD.
One of these days I'll take pics but it looks just like this but with the rotor.
I bought mine via Mazdaparts.com & it came out to around $200 including shipping.
Good luck with it, just follow the pics you don't need the translation..
Hope I've helped,
xEll
