Smile need help on intake

Hi everybody, i'm the new guy here. i have a 2004 rx8 with everything on stock, just looking to get a cold air intake system. eventually, i found that the SR motorsport one looks good and they have a good description. has anyone tried that before or any suggestion to me?

wow, okay it really is your first post. Well first of all the SR motorsports intake is really just a waste of money.

i would prefer either keeping stock and putting in a K&N drop in filter or get the revi with the duct. Probably best thing you can do right there cause all other intakes are pretty much obsolete

Thanks for your suggestion.
people said that intake doesnt actually give a lot hp increase, but if its with exhaust, its supposed to highly improve the performance. is it true?
also i heard about the intake that you'ere talking about. is its installation hard?

^+1......correct...........I have the RB exhaust, Revi intake with duct and no warranty issues. All were easy installs. You freakout a little at the idea of taking the front bumper(nose) off, but it's easy and once you do it..........you'll have no fear after that!

a little loud is a gross understatement. It is a very efficient exhaust though.

The Racing Beat intake is the best.

Look up Fanman and PM him.

He has an SR intake.

AEM Intake or the REVi installation isn't hard for either, like mazurfer said, once yo do it, its a walk in the park from there.
