Need Help With Guage Installations!!

i am about to install my defi oil temp guage tomorrow and i just took a look at the engine bay i couldnt find a spot to feed the wire from the engine bay to inside the car.
i have done boost and EGT guage for my friend's eclipse and it as alot easier because for the DSM what we did was cut a small hole in the steering colum rubber. and fed the wire throught there from the engine bay. and made sure the wire isnt touching the steering column. but i just took a look on the 8 the steering colum is like a tiny hole and if i fed the wire through the steering colum. the wire is gonna wrap around on the column.
so is there any other hole i can feed the wire to from the engine bay to my car?? and also for the people that installed this guage where do u wire the power core of the controll unit to?

there is a spot to feed the wire to the right and below of the brake booster (the right when looking at teh booster from the front of the car). this is the spot i routed my lines for oil temp. pressure..and water temp.......it will come ou tabove and to the left of the clutch pedal under the dash...have to contort your body to see it from in the car but it's better to be out of the way.

Go look at the pics in this thread. There's a lot of info you could use.
