Need help on exhaust setup :/

i know you all get **** loads of exhaust questions but ive been reaserching ans searching all over and i think im confusing myself more and more. im wanting to replace my entire exhaust system in my 04 rx8 but im not sure which pieces i need. i was thinking of getting the greddy cat back since i heard alot of good responses about it, but what else will i need, headers and just the mid pipe? or am i missing something.

Get a high flow cat then 3 inch diameter piping all the way to the rear.

On a serious note, you gotta decide whether

1. Do you want to be environmental friendly?

2. How much noise and drone can you take?

3. Will exhaust smell be a problem?

4. Do you want to pass emission test without the hassle of swapping original cat beforehand?

i live in tennessee, i dont think emission tests would be a problem, i think they would check all these damn redneck trucks first lol. noise would be the main problem, nothing to loud cuz i do commute 27 miles to school everyday.
