N/A Tuning my RX-8 - ML Wankeltrim - Must see this!

Info about what to be done, mods etc.

Motul oils and lubricates
Unichip Q
Exedy Flywheel
Ferrita Race Catalytic Converter
NGK Inidium Spark plugs
Upgraded Clutch
Racing Beat REV8 (old mod)
Racing Beat REVi (old mod)
Racing Beat Cold Air Duct (old mod)

The car is right now in work stage and more stuff will be added later on =)

How did you get the software to program the Unichip? I thought it was only available to tuners and would be expensive.

I think they are a certified Unichip dealer?

Sorry but i dont know, its from another customer car, a Greddy Turbo RX-8.

Finally mapped Azathoths RX-8 today. Set up was RB cold air box.V-Power 99,Ferrita race 100 cel cat with 2.5" front silencer,RB catback, Motul oils and of course Unichip piggyback! Results with static dyno testing was 196 rwhp@8400 rpm. Stock RX-8s usually dyno 180 rwhp@8000 rpm. That is hub power on a RotoTest. The engine seemed to like a lambda reading of 0.88-0.91 in the full throttle position. I did a quick test drive and the car was very smooth and linear in the powerband with no hickups or stumbling, just raw power "lol". Next modification to Azathots car will be the short black intake if dyno testing prove a solid 10 hp increasement.
