N/A Interceptor X with Dyno to come SOON!

I installed the interceptor x with Scott's help (thanks Scott!) and to be honest, at first i was slightly disappointed with how much i gained... i felt a little more torque but didn't really feel it pull.

today is the 3rd day, and for some reason, my car started pulling hard?? is it cuz the ecu is learning all over again? but WOW~ wut a difference it made. I love how it pulls on every gear now starting at 3k rpm straight through redline...

another interesting thing i noticed was... i don't have a rev limiter anymore??? is this normal? anyone else experience this? i'm shifting at 9.8k as my flames are shooting out like 10 ft out of my exhaust lol.

i dont plan on shifting that high much but it was very interesting to see that i had no more rev limits...

i'm getting my new tranny next weds covered by my warranty (taking advantage of this before it ends lol) and they'll be installing my act prolite flywheel while they're changing my tranny!

i donno how many day(s) they'll have my car... but right after, i'm going straight for dyno tuning and i'll post up my numbers.

i'm having random rough idles... one day it'll sit at 900 rpm solid and feel fine, and other days it'll drop down to 600-700's and sputter.. hopefully this will fix itself or maybe the tuner can help me out with this.

overall, i love the interceptor and i look forward to scott's turbo kit. til then, i'm set with the n/a set up and i'll be enjoying it until scott starts taking orders for his kit.

The rough idle is common. You have to make it PIG rich at idle to get that to stop. The only bad thing is that you have to make it so rich, you can litterally smell the gas. I loved the interceptor, but that was the only thing I had a complaint about.

As far as y our power coming on the 3rd day, I really don't know what to say. The only possible variables that could have changed were the gas, and the temperature. Your car is no longer learning, it only does what the Int-X tells it to do. I don't know about your redline thing either. Experiement with it. Drive slowly, and try to find out where the max is. I haven't heard of anyone having a higher redline as of yet, so I don't know how to comment on that.

But stop teasing us, go get that damn dyno!

I found that I had no redline with a CZ, no idea what caused it, but the fuel cutoff was no longer there and I could exceed the normal limits. It's not of any use though, since the car peaks at 8500 rpm.

Moostafa, less posting, more shipping!

yea i gotta be careful. i read on the SFR turbo that with their kit, it redlines at 10k? is there a way you can tune n/a for a higher redline? it'd be awesome if u can safely shift at the end of our rpm lol

I think the reve limiter is still there, but the IntX is in control of it. Since your tach is off by a quite a bit up there, I think you just haven't hit it yet. The stock rev limiter came in at 9500? I don't remember. Anyhow, you were really reving at say 8900. The tach just said 9500. The IntX limits it based on the real RPM - not what the tach says.

I think this is what's happening anyway...

Funyn you say pig rich is the best for idle!

Seems that the best results we have gotten for idle is running it at around 14.5

The stock PCM idles it around that point and higher
