The plastic end piece that sits down in the tranny just shattered and now I have plastic bits in there. Mine had over 10k miles on it. Has anyone elses broke? Will Axialflow honor a replacement w/o receipt or can i send back to have it fixed?

Call Richard and he will replace the cup. It won't hurt anything...I would change the oil in the tranny though to get rid of some of the bits

 

Uuuuhhh! I just stuffed myself with oreos. It was like a light yellow.

 

HAHAH..that happened to mine too. Sad days, but I just mailed it back to Richard Paul and BAM got it replaced ASAP! Great customer service, just wondering why that piece breaks =P

 

We replace them for free. The new one is a better material and no one has broken one yet. Send it back and we return it the same day or next.

 

Hmmm, interesting. I was one of the first to order Richard's "God's gift to RX-8" shifter and I thought I was the only one who had the end piece shatter. No biggie, I like this thing too damn much. Going back to stock just made me sick to my stomach lol.

 

yeah i cant wait for mine to shatter, already had it a year and no problems...i just want the upgraded piece for assurance
